The choir of Our Lady and St Caecilia

The Choir of Our Lady and St Caecilia is a mixed choir that serves at St Jude Church, Holder, for the Traditional Latin Mass.  The Choir sings every Sunday at the 10.00 AM  Mass.  The Choir also sings for major feasts that fall during the week at 6.30 PM at Sts Peter and Paul, Garran.

The Choir welcomes new members to sing on a regular or on an occasional basis.

The Choir specialises in Gregorian Chant and Sacred Polyphony, it also sings a wide variety of music from the medieval period to twentieth century compositions. Its music enhances the beauty of the sacred liturgy.

The Director of Music is Maria Henry, with Maria’s brother, Hugh, acting as Choral Conductor.  Its members come from various backgrounds and ages.
